Beloth der Dunkelgeschworene
Beloth der Dunkelgeschworene is one of only three Overwhelming Beings in Crimson Desert — the highest difficulty boss tier in the game. He haunts the frozen Hohenmark-Ruinen in northern Hernand, wielding an unholy halberd and commanding blizzard attacks.

Location & How to Unlock
- Location: Hohenmark-Ruinen, northern Hernand (Argent Peaks)
- Prerequisite: Complete Main Story Chapter 6
- Quest line: "White Blizzard" unlocks in Chapter 7
- Associated faction quest: Haus Lanford — "Geist im Frost"
- You can go directly to Hohenmark-Ruinen to trigger the fight without accepting any specific quest
Pre-Fight Preparation
Cold Resistance (Most Important)
Cold resistance is the #1 priority for this fight:
- Cold Resistance 5 → Survive environmental cold damage
- Cold Resistance 15 → Completely immune to the boss's freeze effects (recommended target)
Recommended cold resistance gear:
- Kuku Cold Resistance Armor (craft with: Verstärkter Kuku-Eisentopf + Frostfluch-Plattenpanzer + Power Core + Abbild der Erhöhung)
- Frostcursed armor pieces
Recommended Weapons
- Ruler's Twin Cannon — Ranged attacks that don't consume stamina, safest DPS option
- Taoria's Bracelet — Auto-tracking crow attacks
- Fire-attribute weapons/skills — Stack burn DoT for consistent damage

- Miracle revival potions: 10+

Combat Strategies
Strategy 1: Pillar Cover Method (Safest, Recommended)
The strategy recommended by the Japanese community:
- Always keep a stone pillar between you and the boss
- When Beloth loses line of sight, his AI stops attacking and he stands idle
- Fire ranged attacks from behind pillar cover (cannons, crow summons)
- Don't stand flush against pillars — some attacks can clip through
Strategy 2: Fire DoT Method
- Equip fire-attribute weapons/skills to stack burn damage over time
- Use Level 3 Kraftfaust combos to fill the stagger gauge
- Execute a Finisher when the boss is staggered
- Repeat the cycle patiently
Strategy 3: Aerial Archery (Cheese Method)
- Equip infinite arrow Abyss Gear
- After engaging, double jump + lock-on ×3 to reach the top of a pillar
- Rain explosive arrows for ~10 minutes straight
- As one Korean player put it: "It works, but there's no fun in it"
Critical Warning: Do NOT Light the Torches!
The ruins are scattered with dark, unlit torches. Never light them. Lighting a torch spawns infinite "Dark Sorcerer" enemies that will bombard you with ranged magic throughout the boss fight. Keep all torches unlit = a clean 1v1 with Beloth.
Freeze Management
- A freeze accumulation bar appears at the bottom-left of the screen
- Dodging resets freeze buildup
- If frozen, mash the Sprint button to break free (don't mash dodge — you'll roll away from cover)
- Monitor the temperature gauge near the minimap — stay in the green zone
