Obwohl Balton nur einer von vielen Anwärtern war, erregte sein außergewöhnliches Talent sogar die Aufmerksamkeit von Stefan Lanford. Um Balton zu ehren, der seine Pflicht erfüllte und dafür sein Leben aufgab, gab Calphade dieser Waffe seinen Namen.
