Les ailes de ce papillon sont jaune or, avec des taches noires très marquées. De longues extensions graciles se projettent vers le bas à l'extrémité de ses ailes postérieures.
A butterfly with the base of its wings a bright, soft golden yellow, marked with bold black patterns running across them. Long, slender tail-like protrusions extend down from the tips of the hindwings.
