La face supérieure des ailes de ce papillon présente une large rayure bleu marine à bleu sarcelle métallique sur fond noir. S'y ajoutent de petits points blancs, qui apparaissent rarement sur les bords. Une bande bleue court sur l'extérieur des ailes postérieures. La face inférieure des ailes présente du brun et de l'orange sur fond noir, avec des rangées de points rouge oranger.
A butterfly with the upper side of the wings of a black background with a strong bluish green to turquoise metallic sheen, and small white spots that rarely appear on its edges. A blue band runs evenly along the outer edge of the hindwings. The underside of the wings has a background mixed with brown and orange, with rows of round reddish orange spots.
