Which Legendary Horse Should You Get First?

  • - Royler (White) β€” Best overall. Highest stamina means longest sprints. Fastest speed and acceleration. Ideal for exploration and general use.
  • - Rokade (Black) β€” Tankiest with 600 HP. Easiest to tame (temperate climate). Great if you take a lot of mounted damage.
  • - Camora (Red) β€” Highest attack (27) and defense (100). Back Kick hits hardest. Best for late-game mounted combat.

Legendary Horse Locations

HorseLocationTaming Difficulty
RokadeSouthern Hernand, Steel Mountains, near the lake west of Spire of InsightEasy β€” mild climate
RoylerPailune snow regionHard β€” snow drains HP and stamina, recommend Stamina Lv.8+
CamoraCrimson Desert region (desert)Medium β€” heat debuff, bring fire-resistant cloak
Can't find the horse? Ride far away and come back to respawn it.

Tips

  • - Rokade first if you want an easy tame with a beefy mount
  • - Royler is the best all-rounder for most of the game
  • - Camora shines in late-game combat but the desert environment makes taming harder
  • - Level up Stamina before attempting legendary horse taming β€” Lv.6 minimum, Lv.8+ for Royler
  • - Back Kick + kiting with bow is the strongest mounted combat strategy
  • - Complete Harmonious Hoofprint early by stabling one of each regular breed
