Una farfalla con la pagina superiore delle ali di un blu profondo e nero, caratterizzata da un evidente bordo bianco lungo il perimetro. Presenta anche due macchie rosse nella parte superiore. Le ali hanno una forma quasi triangolare e, in linea con il suo nome, vola con rapidità e destrezza.
