翅全体が濃い黒褐色で、前翅と後翅を貫くようにエメラルド色に輝く緑色の太いラインが伸びており、このラインは光の角度によって青緑色から青磁色に変わり、孔雀の羽根のような光沢を放つ。翅の端には短い尾状の突起がある。

The green band changes to turquoise or celadon depending on the angle of light, giving a metallic sheen like a peacock feather. It has a short, tail-like projection at its tip.
