小さく軽い体を持つハエの一種で、しなやかな翅の動きで飛び回る。食べ物や発酵中の果物の匂いに引き寄せられすぐに姿を表す。繁殖速度が非常に早く、短命ながら数多くの卵を産み、家の中や外で簡単に見つけることができる。
A small, lightweight fly species, it flutters around with gentle wingbeats. Drawn to the scent of food or fermenting fruit, it appears easily and breeds at a rapid pace. Despite its short lifespan, it lays numerous eggs, quickly increasing its population. It can be found both inside the home and outdoors.
