ネズミに似た姿をしているが、一日の大半を水辺で過ごす動物。捕食者から身を守るため、水中から直接巣に出入りできるよう入り口を作る。しかし旺盛な好奇心のせいで、猛獣や狩人の罠にかかることも多い。どれほど堅固な砦をもっていても、このような性格の前では役に立たないのだ。
Muskrats, similar in appearance to rats, live mostly in water. They build lodges with underwater entrances to evade predators. However, their curiosity often leads them into traps, making them an easy prey to catch for both predators and hunters. Despite having a safe hideout, this inquisitive nature frequently results in capture.
