길고 가느다란 몸체가 검은빛을 띠는 대형 지네로, 강한 턱과 독을 이용해 먹잇감을 빠르게 제압한다. 몸은 여러 마디로 나뉘어 있으며 각 마디마다 한 쌍의 다리가 달려 있어 매우 민첩하게 움직인다. 주로 어두운 돌 틈이나 낙엽 속에 숨어 있다가 기회를 보아 사냥하며, 위협을 받을 경우 공격성이 강하다.
A large centipede with a long, slender body that has a black sheen, it quickly subdues prey using strong jaws and venom. Its body is divided into several segments, each with a pair of legs, allowing it to move very dexterously. It mainly hides in dark crevices or among fallen leaves, waiting for an opportunity to hunt, and becomes highly aggressive when it receives a threat.
