날개 윗면은 검은색 바탕에 파란색의 넓은 줄무늬가 앞날개와 뒷날개를 가로질러 이어져 있으며, 날개 기부 쪽으로 갈수록 푸른빛이 더 진해진다. 앞날개 바깥쪽과 끝에는 흰색 반점이 흩어져 있어 안쪽과 대비된다.
