강이나 호수 바닥에 몸을 묻고 사는 연체동물이다. 단단한 껍질 속에서 물을 거르며 먹이를 얻고, 위협을 받으면 재빨리 입을 닫아 몸을 지킨다.
A mollusk that lives buried in the bottom of rivers or lakes. Inside its hard shell, it sifts water to obtain food, and when threatened, snaps shut tight to keep itself safe.
