날개 윗면은 짙은 파란색과 검은색을 띠고 있으며, 특히 날개 가장자리에 흰색 테두리가 있다. 또한 그 위에 빨간색 반점이 두 곳에 위치하고 있다. 날개의 형태가 삼각형에 가깝고 이름처럼 매우 빠르고 날렵한 비행을 한다.
