날개 윗면은 진한 올리브 갈색 바탕에 선명한 연두색~비취색의 반점이 크고 규칙적으로 배열되어 있다. 날개 아랫면은 윗면과 같은 패턴이지만 연두색 부분이 옅은 황록색에서 노란빛을 띠고, 갈색 부분은 적갈색으로 변해 마치 마른 나뭇잎처럼 보인다.
