날개 윗면은 짙은 갈색 바탕에 날개 중앙을 가로지르는 넓은 녹색~황록색 띠가 뚜렷하다. 뒷날개에는 두 개의 길고 날카로운 꼬리 돌기가 있으며, 아래쪽 끝부분에는 작은 주황색 반점이 있다.
