날개 윗면은 검은색 바탕에 청남색~청록색 금속 광택이 강하게 나타나며, 가장자리에는 작은 흰색 반점이 드물게 나타난다. 뒷날개 외곽에는 푸른 띠가 고르게 이어진다. 날개 아랫면은 갈색과 주황색이 섞인 바탕에 붉은 주황색의 둥근 반점이 줄지어 있다.

A blue band runs evenly along the outer edge of the hindwings. The underside of the wings has a background mixed with brown and orange, with rows of round reddish orange spots.
