Motyl o skrzydłach, których wierzch ma kolor ciemnoniebieski i czarny oraz białą obwódkę wokół krawędzi. Na górze skrzydeł są dwie czerwone plamki. Skrzydła są niemal trójkątne w kształcie, a motyl, jak sugeruje jego nazwa, jest niezwykle szybki i zwinny w locie.
