Banded Peacock Butterfly

A butterfly with its entire wing of a dark blackish-brown base and a broad emerald green band running across the forewing and hindwing. The green band changes to turquoise or celadon depending on the angle of light, giving a metallic sheen like a peacock feather. It has a short, tail-like projection at its tip.
