Palmar Beetle
item
A small beetle that has a shell closely mimicking the unique patterns and shape of the Palmar leaf. Its body is about the size of a fingernail, and when it hides among clusters of Palmar leaves, it's nearly impossible to spot. The beetle's mimicry serves as camouflage to evade predators, and when threatened, it quietly freezes, blending in perfectly with the leaves.
