A shield forged from the will to protect Pailune. The honorable warriors of the north vow to protect and nurture their homeland. While this vow was once meant only for family or tribe, it evolved into a more noble oath for all of Pailune after Jian united the northern tribes.

A shield issued to Demenissian soldiers. A soldier's duty is to never retreat, no matter the foe, and to hold the line with all their might, a belief Demenissian soldiers are deeply trained in.

A large shield crafted by House Gilliam. It is said to have been designed solely to withstand House Lambert's weapons. However, both families remain silent regarding its actual performance, leaving only room for rampant speculation.
