雄蝶的翅膀表面呈鮮藍色，翅緣繞著細黑邊。雌蝶則以黑褐色為底，翅根部略帶藍色。後翅可見橘色斑點與黑點。
A butterfly with its upper side of the wings vivid blue with a thin black border along the edge. The female has a brownish background, and the base of the wings may be slightly blue. On the hindwings, there are orange spots and black spots.
