体表覆有细毛且长着透明翅膀的群居性昆虫。采集花蜜与花粉带回蜂巢，用以酿造蜂蜜与蜂蜡。以分工明确的群体方式生活，是植物授粉的重要媒介。受到威胁时会用毒针反击，代价是失去生命。
A social insect covered in fine hairs with transparent wings. It gathers nectar and pollen from flowers and carries them homeward to the beehive, producing honey and beeswax. Living in colonies with divided roles, it plays a crucial part as a pollinator for plants. When threatened, it attacks with its stinger, sacrificing its own life in the process.
