翅膀表面为鲜艳的橙色，数条黑色纵纹从前翅延伸至后翅。后翅末端生有尖锐的短剑状尾突，外缘同样覆着黑色边线。翅膀背面颜色更深，花纹仿若干枯的树叶。

Its hindwings have long, pointed dagger-shaped tail bumps, and the edges are surrounded by a black border. The underside of the wings looks like a dry leaf.
