Expansion Walkthrough

RETURN TO CAMP

Return to Howling Hill camp. Enter the black tent to trigger a cutscene. Learn that Nela and Andrew — previously sent on a mission — have lost contact. You need to investigate.

FIND ALLIES AT THE SAWMILL

Speak with Marius outside the tent. He mentions there's word of companions at a nearby sawmill.

The sawmill is just southeast of Howling Hill.

At the sawmill, talk to the two armed men. They turn out to be the Greymane allies you're looking for. Watch the cutscene — you receive an Abyss Artifact (skill point) as a reward.

UNLOCK CAMP EXPANSION

Return to Howling Hill. Approach the shrine near the camp and interact with the dragon head on the left side. Read "Shakatu's Letter" to unlock the camp management system.

Open your map. Set the filter to "All," select the Howling Hill icon, and press "View Details" in the bottom right.

In the task menu, select "Expand Howling Hill Camp." Assign mercenaries Luc and Ronald to the task. Camp expansion runs on a progress timer — start it and go do other things while it completes.

CHAPTER 3 COMPLETE

Return to camp to trigger the final cutscene. Chapter 3: Howling Hill is now complete.

The Greymanes are reunited and your base is established. From here, the camp will grow as you assign more expansion tasks, unlocking new facilities and NPCs.
